UPDF Veterans verification exercise kick off in Kabarole

Speaking to Journalists at Kabarole District Headquarters Lt col. Kenneth Wabire the team director for the verification in Rwenzori sub region noted that the country wide exercise is aiming at identifying whether the people getting the money are the true beneficiaries citing that even those who didn’t get a chance to their pension are given forms to fill and claim their money.

He therefore appealed to the residents to come with the required documents in order to be retained on their payroll

Rwemusuma Ninsiima the spokesperson for the exercise appealed to the public not to use middle men who asks for money from them saying that the exercise is free.

She added that those with fodged documents will be disqualification. *End*
