KABAROLE: Over 60 Christians have been confirmed into the Anglican Faith at St Mathews Kadaali Church of Uganda in Gweri Parish Karambi Sub County Kabarole district.
The function was presided over by the Bishop of Ruwenzori Diocese the Rt. Rev. Reuben Kisembo Amooti who warned Christians against laziness.
Bishop Kisembo condemns some youths who do not want to work but spend much of their time in gambling leading to increased theft.
He encourages Christians to engage in carpentry, tailoring and cultivation to increase their income.
The bishop sated that people who do not want to work should not eat. He encouraged Christians to utilize the recent rains to engage in commercial agriculture.
Rev. Canon. Ezra Musobozi the Sub Dean St John’s Cathedral urged cohabiting Christians to prepare and receive holy matrimony so as they can benefit from the holy Eucharist.
Rev. Etienne Kabagambe the Parish Priest Ihaani COU commended Christians for working hard in uplifting the welfare of their lay leaders and church infrastructures.
