KASESE. Court seating in Rukoki on Monday, 13th of March sentenced a 23 year old teenager to prison for fifteen months.
During the ruling, Court heard that on 28th of February 2017, Nakiyinje Sabra, a resident of Kawempe suburb Kampala District with false direction by her boyfriend obtained goods and illegally resided in Mweya Safari Lodge.
According to the Rukoki grade II magistrate Stephen Kabyanga, the accused pleaded guilty for having obeyed false directives and sentenced to fifteen months at Mubuku prison on accounts of obtaining goods by false pretense in accordance to the penal code act 305.
On top of a fifteen months sentence, Court further ordered Nakiyinje to pay 4.4milion for the hotel payments.
Asked shortly after the court siting, Nakiyinje admitted the ruling revealing that she had been in a relationship with her boyfriend whose name she never mentioned for over three years.
The convict, described her ex-boyfriend’s act as revenge for the misunderstandings they had in November last year.
She wondered why her former boyfriend revenged in this way adding that he would have resolved the matter via amicable means.
Since the incident happened, Nakiyinje’s boyfriend’s telephone number has been offline.
